Start of the Luso Half Marathon
Luso Half Marathon
The Luso Portugal Half Marathon is one of the most popular races in Portugal, with over 15.000 runners. Starting at the Vasco da Gama Bridge, it ends at Praça do Comércio together with the Lisbon Marathon. The 21km course, takes the Luso Half Marathon runners from the north area of the city to downtown Lisbon, crossing emblematic historical monuments and river side views.
Participation Kitbags
The delivery of the participation kitbags (bib number and official t-shirt) will take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, on the 14th, 15th and 16th of October from 10:00 AM to 20:00 PM at Sport Expo (address to be define soon). The athletes must present their registration document (sent by email) and a personal ID document to collect their kitbag. The athletes can nominate someone to collect their BIB. The nominee needs to present the registration document and a copy of a personal ID document from the registered runner. All participants will receive: Official t-shirt BIB with chip One bag One medal (at the finish line)
How to get to the starting line
The starting line is located over the Vasco da Gama bridge. To access to the starting line, runners must use the buses provided by the organization to arrive at the bridge. The buses depart from the Vasco da Gama Shopping Center and are available from 7:30 to 9:00 am. To get to the Vasco da Gama Shopping Centre, runners can use for free (presenting their BIBs) the Lisbon public transportation system (subway, buses and trains). The race starts at 10h30.
