Thursday, March 8th, 2018

10:00 AM - 8:00 PM – Official opening of SportExpo (Sports and Leisure Fair), in CCB - Centro Cultural de Belém (Praça do Império ou Rua Bartolomeu Dias, 1449-003 Lisboa). The Expo runs also on the 9th & 10th, from 10.00 am up to 20.00 PM,  without any interruption.

For all of our participants, your bib number will be available at this time. 

Friday, March 9th, 2018

10:00 AM - 8 PM – Sport Expo - Feira do Desporto e Lazer, CCB - Centro Cultural de Belém (Praça do Império ou Rua Bartolomeu Dias, 1449-003 Lisboa).

Saturday, March 10 th, 2018 

09:30 AM – Start of VITALIS 7K Jamor-Lisboa, starts at the National Stadium (Estádio Nacional), in Oeiras, and finishes in front of the Jeronimos Monastery, in Belém. All participants are entitled to a technical T-shirt, and those who finish the race receive a commemorative medal. Limit of 2,000 participants. Please see our regulations.

11:00 AM – Start of MIMOSA Passeio da Família (Mimosa Family Walk). The walk is for Adults (over 45 years) and Juniors (under 9 years).

The athletes gather at Av. Brasília (next to the Fluvial de Belém Station), near the Museum of Electricity, and the finish will be at the same location.

Registrations for this event are free and are available online, to be sent to the Maratona Clube de Portugal, by email ([email protected]), fax (214 413 073) or sold during SportExpo, on the 8th and 9th of March, from 10:00 to 20:00. Limit of 4,000 participants.
4:00 PM – The EDP Mini Champions starts and finishes at Museu da Electricidade.

This race is designed for children between the ages of 5 and 13 years. Limited to 1,500 participants. 

Registration can be made online and will only be accepted if accompanied by the entry fee (2 euros) or proof of payment. Alternatively, you may register at the Sport Expo in CCB - Centro Cultural de Belém (Praça do Império ou Rua Bartolomeu Dias, 1449-003 Lisboa), on the 8th and 9th of March, from 10:00 AM to 8 PM and March the 10th until 12:00 PM.

Sunday, March 11th, 2018

Due to the weather conditions, the Security Council, which brings together the entities responsible for the management of the Bridge 25th of April, considers that the conditions are not in place for the start of the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon and the Vodafone Mini Marathon in the Bridge 25th of April.

Thus, it was defined that the departure will be on the Eixo Norte Sul in Sete Rios (in front of the Lisbon ZOO).

The departure time is kept at 10:30 am. We remind you that you will be able to use the Carris, CP, Metro, Fertagus, TST and Metro do Sul transports free of charge to attend the departure (Sete Rios exit)

07:00 AM - 09:45 AM – Shuttle departure.  

From 07:00 AM until 09:45 AM, upon presentation of your bib, athletes can use the CP Lisbon trains (on the Rail lines of Sintra, Cascais, Azambuja and Sado), Carris, the Subway in Lisbon and the Fertagus train to travel to the starting line in Pragal. You may also use MTS - Metro Transportes do Sul and TST - Transportes Sul do Tejo.

Fertagus, MTS - Metro Transportes do Sul and Transportes Sul do Tejo are the means of transport athletes should use to get to the finish line.

ATTENTION: From the Pragal station to the starting line is a 15 minutes’ walk. Please arrive early to the race!            

10:25 AM - Start of CTT Wheelchair Racing.

10:30 AM - Start of the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon and Mini Marathon Vodafone.

General information

Bib Delivery

Registered athletes should pick up their bib number between the 8th and the 10th of March (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), from 10:00 to 20:00, at the Sport Expo, please present your registration receipt (document sent by e-mail at the beginning of March).

ATTENTION: Bib numbers will not be delivered on the day of the race.

Participation Conditions

Participants must meet the health conditions for sports. After registration, they assume that they feel physically and psychologically prepared for the physical effort inherent to the race in which they will participate. The organization assures subscribers a personal accident insurance, as provided for in Articles 15 and 18 of Decree 10/2009, with a capital for death or permanent disability of 28 000.00 euros and expenses treatment until € 4000.00. The organization is not responsible for situations that are not covered by this insurance.

Rules common to all races

  • Registration fees are non-refundable and may not be transferable.
  • Registration is valid only for the year in progress.
  • The sale, resale or offer of individual registrations will entail the exclusion of competitor competitions for 3 years.
  • The organization will be strict regarding the time limits: 3 hours for the Mini and Half Marathon. After these periods, athletes will have to leave the road and drive to the rides. This is an official provision according to the police forces responsible for traffic in Greater Lisbon.
  • Only athletes with the official race number can line up for the start.
  • In the event of a dispute, the consumer may use the Arbitration Center as follows:
